Innovative tradition: the great success of the online sale of “Valbuzzi” panettone

Two standout successes in online sales this Christmas were the Gift Card from the ristorante Crotto Valtellina and the Panettoni “Valbuzzi”, born from the passion of Chef Roberto Valbuzzi. Three types of ‘Valbuzzi’ Panettoni were created (Traditional, Valtellina, and a more unique one with olives, dark chocolate, and EVO oil), which, in just a few days, graced tables across Italy.

We’ve been collaborating with Roberto Valbuzzi for years, and we’re proud to have contributed to these successes by developing both the e-commerce platform for his delicious panettone and the website for his restaurant, Crotto Valtellina.

• Since these are artisanal products, they are limited in quantity. We implemented inventory management and monitoring on the e-commerce site to provide notifications when stock levels fall below a certain threshold.
  

• Integration of a system to track shipments via Bartolini courier, enabling customers to track their orders by entering a tracking code.

• Addition of a shipping cost calculator that adjusts based on the number of items purchased.

• Capability to export orders in Excel format for better monitoring and management of sales.
  

• Integration with ‘Facebook for WooCommerce,’ allowing customers to access the product catalog directly from social media platforms (Facebook and Instagram).
