USAG is a major player in the tool manufacturing industry and has relied on Weblink for years to implement a wide range of digital solutions. From smartphone and tablet applications to a digital catalog, internal tools, and the company’s corporate website, www.usag.it. The project began as a redesign of USAG’s old portal and was carried out in collaboration with the company’s internal marketing team, with whom we worked closely from the outset to define the requirements. Next, we moved on to the graphic design of the UI and UX, following a hierarchy of priorities aimed at creating a highly distinctive yet lightweight and high-performing website. The goal was to ensure that the most sought-after information was easy and intuitive for users to find. The result is a highly recognizable website with a dual purpose: one that serves as a corporate presentation and another that highlights the extensive product catalog. A major focus was placed on optimizing the internal search engine to deliver accurate results tailored to the countless variables of this particular product type. Each product is presented with its variants, technical details, and summary sheets in PDF format, generated dynamically by the website to ensure the information is always up-to-date.

It’s worth noting that the catalog section’s data is automatically sourced from the company’s repository, ensuring that any changes made once are seamlessly propagated across all digital media. The USAG website features a CMS for managing information and pages, enabling company staff to make updates or changes at any time. Working closely with USAG’s marketing team, we also refined the SEO strategy, optimizing content to improve indexing by search engines. We continue to update and enhance this project, adding functionalities requested by USAG and others suggested by us to streamline efforts in meeting the needs and desires of end users.
